FX unveils teaser for American Horror Story season 13 with returning stars and release schedule

FX released a new trailer for American Horror Story season 13, confirming the return of Jessica Lange and other legacy characters, and announced a September 24 premiere.

FX has dropped a fresh teaser for the upcoming thirteenth installment of American Horror Story, confirming that Jessica Lange will reprise her role as Constance Langdon after a hiatus since 2018’s Apocalypse. The clip also brings back Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson, Angela Bassett, Emma Roberts and a host of other alumni, including iconic antagonists Twisty the Clown and Rubber Man, suggesting an ambitious mash-up of storylines from earlier seasons.

Creator Ryan Murphy described the concept as an "Avengers-level" convergence, with some actors portraying multiple characters in the same scene. The network announced a 13-episode, half-hour format, launching on Thursday, Sept. 24 at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT on FX and Hulu, with three episodes airing on premiere night and week two, followed by two episodes each Thursday until the finale on Oct. 29. A full cast list includes Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, Emma Roberts, Billie Lourd, Gabourey Sidibe, Leslie Grossman, Joey Pollari, and many others.
