Gal Gadot Discusses AI-Driven Set Design and Future of Wonder Woman Role

Gal Gadot appeared on the “Happy Sad Confused” podcast to promote “The Runner” and to talk about her career choices. She indicated that, with four children and schooling considerations, returning for a third Wonder Woman movie is no longer feasible, especially after the recent leadership change at DC Studios. Gadot reflected on how other talent, such as Henry Cavill and director Patty Jenkins, were treated during the transition.

Turning to her next project, Doug Liman’s “Bitcoin,” she explained that the production relied on artificial intelligence to create the film’s environments and lighting, saving substantial costs. Her legal team spent six months reviewing every possible AI scenario to ensure the technology would not alter her acting, prompting SAG to seek contract updates. Gadot expressed both fear and acceptance of AI, urging actors to engage with the technology rather than avoid it, and likened the bare-bones shooting process to theater work.
