Galaxy Corp. launches its second robot arena inside Dubai Mall
South Korean startup Galaxy Corp. inaugurated a robot performance arena at Dubai Mall, its second venue after Seoul, in partnership with Emaar Entertainment and Reel Cinemas.
Galaxy Corp., a South Korean entertainment-technology startup, opened its second robot performance arena at Dubai Mall, the world’s largest shopping centre by area. The launch, held with partners Emaar Entertainment and Reel Cinemas, featured humanoid robots dancing in sync to a mix of K-pop and regional music, as well as astronaut-clad robots displaying the flags of South Korea and the United Arab Emirates to symbolize cooperation.
The Dubai site follows the company’s inaugural robot-themed park in Seoul, which opened in August, and a promotional display in New York’s Times Square last month. Galaxy Corp. plans to expand the concept to Hong Kong, Tokyo and Singapore as part of a broader push into physical AI entertainment. The opening marks the firm’s first venture into the Middle East market.
