Gate launches white-label builder to add prediction markets to third-party apps
Panama-based crypto exchange Gate introduced Event Contracts Builder, a white-label tool that lets other platforms embed prediction-market features without heavy development.
Gate, a cryptocurrency exchange headquartered in Panama, has entered the prediction-market arena with Event Contracts Builder, a white-label solution built on its Gate DexBuilder infrastructure. Launched in August, the tool enables brokers, Web3 applications and trading platforms to embed forecasting contracts quickly, avoiding the need for extensive technical resources. Gate’s head of DexBuilder, Jason Fung, said the product is designed to let companies add prediction-market functionality with minimal effort.
In parallel, the exchange unveiled a $3 million grant program to fund developers creating event-contract products, providing financial aid, technical assistance and promotional support. Gate’s entry follows a surge in prediction-market popularity, where platforms like Kalshi and Polymarket dominate, and builds on Gate’s prior integration of Polymarket Builder earlier this year. Fung’s background spans media, gaming, and senior roles at Alibaba, ByteDance and the Sei Foundation before joining Gate in July. The company operates globally with hubs in Hong Kong, Japan, Dubai, Malta and a U.S. entity.
Why it matters
Gate’s toolkit could accelerate the spread of prediction markets across finance and gaming apps, widening access to crowd-sourced forecasting.
