Gears of War revives franchise with prequel ‘E-Day’ featuring Poland’s People Can Fly
The sixth Gears of War title, set before the original story, launches after a seven-year gap, with development support from People Can Fly.
After a seven-year hiatus, the series returns with its sixth entry, subtitled “E-Day,” which serves as a prequel to the first game. The Coalition leads the project, while the Polish studio People Can Fly contributes to its development. People Can Fly previously handled PC ports of the first two installments and directed the third game and Gears of War: Judgment.
