Getafe player Davinchi accuses Transport Minister Óscar Puente of murder over train crash
Getafe footballer Davinchi, who lost his father in a train crash, publicly called Transport Minister Óscar Puente a murderer and demanded his resignation.
Getafe's Davinchi, whose father perished in a railway disaster, used his social platforms to label Transport Minister Óscar Puente a murderer and to call for his immediate resignation. He argued that money and empty words cannot replace justice for the families affected. Mario Samper, head of the victims' association, echoed the demand, noting that Puente refused to resign and claimed he was not responsible for welding the rail.
Samper said they are still waiting for Puente to meet the victims in Huelva, as he had pledged. The crash investigation is ongoing, with the definitive report slated for the first quarter of 2027. Davinchi also shared a heartfelt tribute to his father, expressing love and faith.
