Giants celebrate rookie bond as Skattebo honors Dart's Utah high school

At the start of the NFL season, Giants rookie Cam Skattebo paid tribute to teammate Jaxson Dart by wearing the latter's Corner Canyon High School jersey at MetLife Stadium. The display generated a wave of social-media commentary. During the primetime matchup against the Dallas Cowboys, Dart completed 23 of 29 passes for 230 yards, delivering three touchdown throws.
Skattebo, back after a fractured right leg ended his rookie year, added 81 rushing yards and a first-quarter touchdown. Tight end Isaiah Likely emerged as Dart's top target with eight catches for 78 yards and two scores. The Giants prevailed 28-20 in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
