Global Citizen Festival Announces Star-Studded Lineup for September Central Park Concert

Global Citizen confirmed that its 2026 festival will be staged in Central Park on Sept. 26, headlined by Lauryn Hill and Wyclef Jean, who mark three decades since the release of the Fugees' The Score. The bill also includes Lenny Kravitz, John Legend, Lainey Wilson, Shaboozey and the K-pop act Tomorrow x Together, with actor Hugh Jackman handling hosting duties. Additional celebrity appearances are expected from Rachel Brosnahan, Gayle King and others to be announced.
The concert, free to attend, requires participants to earn tickets by engaging with Global Citizen's advocacy campaigns on education, farming and electricity. Co-founder Hugh Evans highlighted past progress in reducing extreme poverty and urged the new generation to continue the effort. The event blends music and activism to close out the summer on the Great Lawn.
