Goa government petitions Supreme Court to upgrade Tarun Tejpal's sentence to life
The Goa administration has approached the Supreme Court, asking that former Tehelka chief Tarun Tejpal's ten-year term be increased to life imprisonment.
Following a conviction by the Goa bench of the Bombay High Court, the state of Goa filed an appeal in the Supreme Court seeking a harsher penalty for Tarun Tejpal.
