Goalhanger, the UK-based podcast powerhouse, announced the creation of a head of IP development position and the appointment of Tom Miceli, formerly of WME, to fill it. Miceli's responsibilities will include shaping the company's licensing strategy, identifying TV and film prospects from its current catalog and pipeline, and negotiating deals with commissioners and production partners. He will work closely with the firm's founders, talent, editorial staff and general managers to prioritize projects for both domestic and international markets.
Miceli brings more than ten years of experience representing producers and directors and recently helped broker Goalhanger's Netflix collaboration for "The Rest Is Football."
