GoFundMe gathers over $600,000 for five-month-old daughter of slain Bank of America vice president

A GoFundMe campaign has collected more than $600,000 for Madison, the five-month-old daughter of Erin Piacenti, who was fatally stabbed in Times Square.

Bank of America vice president Erin Piacenti was returning from maternity leave when she was stabbed to death in Times Square by Pamela Cisneros, who also injured a second victim before police shot her dead. Piacenti, 32, had been with the firm for about 18 months, working in the Business Selection and Conflicts group that evaluates new investment mandates. A GoFundMe page created for her five-month-old daughter Madison has raised more than $600,000 from over 6,000 contributors.

The campaign highlights Piacenti’s roles as a daughter, sister, friend, partner to Frank Piacenti, and devoted mother. Her former employers, including Davis Polk and the University of Pennsylvania, issued statements expressing sorrow. The incident follows a prior violent attack on a Wall Street executive, underscoring lingering safety concerns in the financial district.
