Goldman Sachs to grant over $500 million in special equity awards to top executives
Goldman Sachs Group plans to award special equity compensation exceeding $500 million to roughly 20 senior leaders, including CEO David Solomon.
The investment bank disclosed that a set of special equity awards, authorized in October 2021, will total more than $500 million. About twenty senior executives are slated to receive the grants, with the final allocations expected later this month. The payouts reflect a five-year period during which Goldman outperformed most competitors. CEO David Solomon alone is slated to obtain a share worth over $100 million.
