Google adds AI voice assistants to Gmail, Docs and Keep

Google unveiled a suite of AI-driven voice capabilities across its core productivity apps, branding them Docs Live, Gmail Live and Keep Live. Powered by the Gemini model, the assistant can field natural-language queries about inbox messages, generate first drafts in Docs, and record notes or compile lists in Keep, all while displaying a live transcription. Gmail Live is accessible to Google AI Plus, Pro and Ultra subscribers; Docs Live and Keep Live are limited to Pro and Ultra tiers.

The features debut in English on both iOS and Android platforms, and Google plans to extend them to Workspace Business customers soon. This rollout follows earlier voice initiatives, including cross-app dictation for Mac and the Rambler dictation tool on Pixel 11 devices.
