Gotland agencies conduct large-scale evacuation drill using buses and reception centers
Authorities and NGOs carried out a major evacuation exercise on Gotland, moving participants by bus to a reception site for temporary shelter and aid.
A coordinated drill took place around Bro, Väskinde and Roma on Gotland, involving the Swedish Armed Forces, the regional county administrative board, Region Gotland and the Swedish Church. Participants were transported in buses to a designated reception area where they could receive short-term accommodation, meals and other assistance.
