Government pushes land monetisation with RINL auction and investor roadshow

The National Land Monetisation Corporation will hold investor meetings in Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada and Hyderabad ahead of an e-auction of 459 RINL land parcels.

The National Land Monetisation Corporation, a fully government-owned entity, is organising a series of investor briefings in Visakhapatnam on 23 September, Vijayawada on 24 September and Hyderabad on 25 September to promote the e-auction of 459 land parcels belonging to Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Ltd. The auction forms part of the centre’s push to achieve an ₹80,000 crore disinvestment goal for FY27, with land sales already generating over ₹6,300 crore.

Most of the plots are residential units in HB Colony, Visakhapatnam, with a few commercial sites in Auto Nagar, Gajuwaka. Bidders will receive details on reserve prices, eligibility and registration, and must submit a ₹2 lakh earnest-money deposit. The auction will be conducted in two rounds on 12 October and 16 October via the RailTel E-Nivida platform.
