Government reports nearly a third of RKB projects finished, boosting digital reform

During the launch of the 2026-2030 Public Sector Digitalisation Plan, the Chief Secretary, Tan Sri Dr Shamsul Azri Abu Bakar, reported that 496 out of 1,582 projects under the Bureaucracy Red Tape Reform (RKB) initiative have been completed. He explained that the reforms rely on digitalisation to remove unnecessary administrative steps and lower compliance expenses. The initiative aligns with the Whole-of-Government and Whole-of-Nation principles set out in the 2024-2030 Public Service Reform Agenda, urging all levels of administration to move toward common outcomes.
