Government spokesperson urges ending unemployment benefits after two months

During a media interview, government spokesperson Paulos Marinas advocated for eliminating unemployment benefits that exceed two months, arguing that Greece's unemployment rate is already lower than that of many strong economies. He proposed that the fiscal savings from cutting these benefits be allocated to businesses and to lower workers' insurance contributions, aiming to boost employment.
