Gradiant secures multiple U.S. water-system contracts for major semiconductor plants
Gradiant announced new contracts to provide ultra-pure water, high-recovery wastewater treatment, scrubber recovery and zero-liquid-discharge systems at semiconductor facilities in New York, Virginia, Idaho and Utah.
Gradiant disclosed that it has won new water-infrastructure contracts for semiconductor manufacturers at locations in New York, Virginia, Idaho and Utah. The projects will deliver ultra-pure water, high-recovery wastewater treatment, local scrubber-recovery and zero-liquid-discharge solutions designed to cut fresh-water demand and boost reuse. Many of the deals build on prior work, such as a follow-on high-recovery wastewater plant at a leading chip fab and a scrubber-recovery system previously installed for the same client in Singapore, Taiwan and the United States.
Company executives emphasized that water scarcity is becoming a critical bottleneck for AI chip production and that Gradiant’s end-to-end water portfolio aims to eliminate that constraint. The contracts are intended to strengthen Gradiant’s role as the “water layer” for the semiconductor sector as AI-related investments surge.
