Grand Theft Auto VI extended trailer debuts on Netflix, later hits Rockstar’s YouTube

A 26-minute extended look at Grand Theft Auto VI streamed on Netflix today will be uploaded to Rockstar Games’ YouTube channel later this evening.

Rockstar Games released a 26-minute extended look at Grand Theft Auto VI exclusively on Netflix, with a public YouTube upload scheduled for later today. Set in the made-up Floridian region of Leonida, the game’s world includes a reimagined Vice City, the Leonida Keys archipelago, swamplands, a national park and a coastal port. Players alternate between Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, a criminal duo whose story involves a botched bank heist and a statewide conspiracy, and the title features its first non-optional female lead.

The trailer showcases high-detail environments, vehicle chases, gunfights, and even a chihuahua in a tutu, while confirming a 30 fps performance on PS5. The launch follows controversy over an $80 physical edition that offers only a download code, and a series of leaks that prompted Take-Two to issue DMCA takedowns and subpoenas. GTA VI is slated for release on November 19, with pre-orders now open.

Why it matters
