In a recent statement, Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis announced that Moody's upgraded Greece’s economic outlook while Scope improved the country’s credit rating, both occurring within a single day. He argued that these assessments demonstrate the correctness of one outlet economic policy and the steady advancement of the Greek economy despite a turbulent global environment. Mitsotakis noted that international agencies, which once dismissed Greek bonds as “trash”, now view Greece as a resilient example of reform and rapid debt reduction.
