Greek Prime Minister Mitsotakis launches US tech and investment tour ahead of UN summit
Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis began a visit to the United States, meeting tech firms in Silicon Valley and planning investment talks before addressing the UN General Assembly.
The Greek prime minister arrived in San Francisco to begin a multi-day US visit focused on high-tech and investment outreach. His schedule includes visits to Nvidia and Tesla facilities and a keynote at an Endeavor Greece forum titled “The Future of AI Elsewhere.” The following day he will meet San Francisco Mayor Daniel Lurie and deliver a closed-door talk at Stanford University with participation from former US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice.
Afterward, Mitsotakis will travel to New York, where he will join a round-table with more than 30 institutional investors showcasing Greek opportunities, and hold discussions with senior officials of major international financial institutions. He is set to address the UN General Assembly and later attend an AI-focused event at Columbia University, as well as participate in the launch of the OceanEye alliance and a gathering of Greek diaspora organisations.

The trip aims to attract foreign investment and showcase Greece's economic reforms to key US tech and financial leaders.
