Green Party leader urges parliament to revive probe into alleged security adviser corruption
Annika Hirvonen says the parliamentary investigation into suspected friendship corruption involving Landerholm should be reopened.
The inquiry was suspended in the spring of 2025 because of the legal case against Landerholm. Hirvonen notes that the Tidö parties have long blocked the probe into the alleged cronyism and cover-up. She argues that the new parliamentary majority must summon Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson before the committee to restart the investigation.
Why it matters
It signals growing parliamentary pressure to examine possible cronyism in Sweden's security leadership.
