Greggs will enter a consultation period with trade unions and employee representatives to refine the plan. Recent product launches such as Matcha lattes, salads and a steak-and-stilton bake have helped boost summer sales, and the firm opened 57 new stores this year, aiming for 100-110 by year-end.
