Gunmen in black Scorpio open fire in Moga, killing two cousins

Late Sunday, a black Scorpio SUV entered the Angadpura neighbourhood of Moga town and its occupants unleashed gunfire, killing cousins Sahil Jindal and Gagan Jindal and seriously wounding two others who were taken to hospital. Five individuals were reportedly standing outside their homes when the vehicle arrived and the assailants began shooting indiscriminately. Witnesses estimate that the gunmen fired between 15 and 20 rounds, though police have not confirmed the exact count.

Authorities recovered three shell casings at the scene and dispatched a forensic team to collect evidence. Moga SSP Sartaj Singh Chahal announced that an investigation is underway, including a review of nearby CCTV recordings, and the family has named potential suspects, suggesting a personal feud may be involved.
