In Gwalior, a couple's social-media stunt turned into a legal issue after the girlfriend spent close to four hours painting an estimated 3,400 lipstick kiss shapes on Aditya Sikarwar's car. The colorful display, which covered doors, bonnet, boot and pillars, was widely shared online, prompting traffic police to identify the vehicle via its registration and locate it in the Thatipur area. Authorities argued that the extensive exterior modification violated regulations governing vehicle appearance and road safety.
SP Dharamveer Yadav ordered a fine of Rs 5,500 and instructed that the lipstick marks be washed off. Sikarwar acknowledged the changes when summoned. The incident serves as a reminder that online trends can clash with local traffic laws, even when intended as harmless fun.
