Hamburg Court to Hear First Trial Over Nord Stream Sabotage Allegations
The historic Sievekingplatz courthouse in Hamburg will begin the first trial related to the Nord Stream pipeline sabotage next Wednesday.
The nearly 115-year-old building at Sievekingplatz, famed for past high-profile cases, will host the inaugural hearing on the Nord Stream attack. Prosecutors have named an alleged commander of the sabotage team as the main defendant, and the Ukrainian state is also mentioned in the charges. The proceedings start on Wednesday.
