Hana Financial Group launches new AI-focused headquarters in Incheon's Cheongna district
Hana Financial Group opened a 15-storey headquarters in Cheongna-dong, Incheon, consolidating its finance and tech staff to boost AI development.
Hana Financial Group inaugurated its Cheongna-dong headquarters in Incheon, a 15-floor building with seven underground levels covering about 128,000 square metres. Around 2,200 staff from the holding company and ten affiliates began moving in September, bringing the total occupancy to roughly 4,000 finance and IT workers, including data-center personnel. The facility features open-office layouts, internal stairways, 5G connectivity, and cloud-based virtual desktops to encourage collaboration across departments.
Chairman Ham Young-joo described the opening as the culmination of the Hana Financial Town project launched in 2012 and a first step toward deeper integration of financial and digital capabilities. Incheon Mayor Park Chan-dae praised the project as evidence of Hana’s sustained investment and its new role as a regional financial partner supporting local businesses and emerging industries.
