Harmanpreet Kaur leads India's 15-player squad at 2026 Women's Asia Cup
India's women's cricket team, captained by Harmanpreet Kaur with Smriti Mandhana as vice-captain, will compete in the T20I Asia Cup in the UAE from August 28.
The upcoming Women's Asia Cup, the tournament's 10th edition, will be staged in the United Arab Emirates from August 28 to September 13, with eight teams divided into two groups of four. India, which has claimed seven of the nine previous titles, has named a 15-player squad headed by captain Harmanpreet Kaur and vice-captain Smriti Mandhana. Key bowler Jemimah Rodrigues is ruled out after sustaining a high-grade hamstring tear, and Pratika Rawal has been called up as her replacement.
India's campaign kicks off against Thailand on August 30, and the top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals, culminating in a final on September 13. The tournament will be televised on Sony Sports Network and available for live streaming on the Sony LIV platform.
