Harrison Ford confirmed he will serve as the physical model for an animatronic Indiana Jones in a forthcoming Disney attraction.
During a video message at Disney's D23 convention, Harrison Ford revealed that he will be the model for an animatronic Indiana Jones in a new theme-park experience. The ride, called Indiana Jones and the Myth of the Jade Serpent, is under construction on the site of the former Dinoland U.S.A. attraction at Walt Disney World’s Animal Kingdom. Ford, who is 84, joked about his fear of snakes while confirming his participation.
Disney has not provided a timeline for the attraction’s debut or clarified whether the figure will reflect the original trilogy or later films. The announcement follows Ford’s last cinematic appearance as Indy in 2023’s Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny.
