Harry Brook's rapid 91 punishes Pakistan after dropped catch at Headingley

Harry Brook scored a quick 91 after a missed catch, extending England's lead in the first Test against Pakistan at Headingley.

In the first Test of the three-match series at Headingley, Harry Brook turned a missed catch into a rapid 91, bolstering England’s first-innings total to 366-8. Pakistan, hampered by a rain-affected second day, managed only 171, giving England a 195-run advantage. Brook was edged by Khurram Shahzad but survived a slip drop by Salman Ali Agha, then was dismissed by Ali Usman's leg-spin. England’s captain Joe Root made 66, while Dan Lawrence contributed 51 after being recalled. Young debutant Jordan Cox added a maiden fifty, and the pace attack shared all ten Pakistani wickets on day one.
