In Palwal’s Rajpura village, 25-year-old Sagufta and her infant son Juhan were discovered with strangulation marks, authorities say they were killed by her in-laws over a demand for a Scorpio SUV as dowry. The complaint details a pattern of harassment, a forced village panchayat, and threats that escalated after the family was asked to provide an air conditioner and cash before Sagufta could return to her marital home.
