Hezbollah received $157 million in weapons in 2024, largely from Iran

A new report says Hezbollah obtained $157 million worth of arms in 2024, with most supplied by Iran as an in-kind grant.

According to a report by the Center for Research of Terror Financing, Hezbollah acquired weapons valued at $157 million in 2024. The group spent $28 million on small arms, ammunition, drone parts and dual-use gear, while Iran supplied the remaining $129 million in kind, covering rockets, missiles, drones, anti-tank guided missiles, air-defence and naval assets. Specific deliveries included 4,000 short-range Katyusha rockets, 400 Falaq-1/2 rockets, 120 Burkan rockets and 600 larger Fajr series rockets.

The report also details the cost of various missile types, such as Russian-made Kornet and Iranian-reverse-engineered Dehlavieh ATGMs. Israeli officials claim that 90 percent of Hezbollah's rocket and missile arsenal has been neutralised, leaving the group with an estimated 10,000-15,000 rockets. The findings highlight the scale of Iranian support for the militant group and its ongoing capacity to threaten Israel.
