Higgsfield secures $400 million Series B, boosting valuation to $5.4 billion

Higgsfield announced a $400 million Series B financing that lifts its valuation to $5.4 billion, eight months after a $1.3 billion valuation.

Higgsfield, the AI platform that lets creators produce images and videos, closed a $400 million Series B round that values the company at $5.4 billion, a sharp rise from its $1.3 billion valuation just eight months earlier. The financing was headed by DST Global and included investors such as Goldman Sachs Alternatives, Valor Capital and Tribe Capital. CEO Alex Mashrabov, a former Snap executive, said the capital will be used for typical growth activities and to cover the heavy compute costs of video AI, which he likened to processing 60,000 words per minute of footage.

The firm claims $700 million in annualized revenue, a user base of 30 million across 200 countries, and deals with 390 companies from the Fortune 500 list. Its tools, including Cinema Studio and Marketing Studio, have been used to debut AI-generated movies at Cannes and in New York. Higgsfield faces competition from rivals such as Synthesia and Runway as it pushes deeper into enterprise adoption of video AI.

Why it matters

The funding underscores rapid growth in AI video tech and signals expanding enterprise demand for automated creative tools.
