Higgsfield unveils tool for creating custom AI influencers with surreal looks

Higgsfield released an updated AI influencer platform that lets users add self-made characters into videos, featuring stylized, non-human appearances.

Higgsfield, an AI video company that claims a $1 billion run rate and a user base of 30 million, announced an upgrade to its influencer creation tool. The enhancement makes it easier for creators to embed custom-designed AI characters into pre-existing videos. The avatars are intentionally stylized, showing realistic yet otherworldly features such as geometric haircuts and elongated necks, a choice the company says prevents them from appearing generic or deceptive.

By embracing an uncanny aesthetic, Higgsfield aims to differentiate its product from deep-fake technology and provide transparent content. Several of these AI influencers have already attracted millions of views and thousands of followers, with some being employed to promote memecoins. The move signals a growing market for synthetic personalities that are clearly artificial yet engaging.

Why it matters

It shows how AI is being used to create recognizable yet non-human online personalities, raising new marketing and ethical considerations.
