Hilton's Spark brand to add ten new UK hotels with 672 rooms
Hilton announced ten new Spark by Hilton hotels across England and Wales, adding 672 rooms that will open between late 2026 and 2028.
Hilton confirmed a plan to open ten Spark by Hilton hotels in the United Kingdom, creating 672 additional rooms that will start welcoming guests from late 2026 through 2028. The properties are slated for Cardiff, Coventry, Derby, Doncaster, Hull, Peterborough, Runcorn, Sunderland, Wakefield and Washington, each positioned close to major railway stations, motorways, stadiums or visitor attractions. A separate Spark hotel in Dunfermline is not part of one outlet agreement.
The rollout follows a partnership with AG Hotels Group and reflects Hilton's strategy to grow its value-focused premium-economy brand. Paul Blackmore, Hilton's vice-president of development for the UK and Ireland, highlighted the brand's momentum, noting the first hotel in Wales. While room rates and precise opening dates have not been released, Hilton emphasizes the brand's reliable and comfortable offering at accessible prices.
Why it matters
