Hispanic Think Tank Commits Six-Figure Ad Spend to Boost GOP Candidates in Key States
The LIBRE Initiative, the nation’s largest center-right Hispanic think tank, is spending a six-figure ad buy to support Republican candidates in pivotal gubernatorial and congressional races, aiming to mobilize Latino voters.
The LIBRE Initiative, a prominent center-right Hispanic think tank, announced a six-figure advertising commitment to aid Republican hopefuls in several swing districts. The spend backs Michigan Rep. John James and Wisconsin Rep. Tom Tiffany in their gubernatorial bids, as well as Ohio Sen. Jon Husted and Arizona Rep. Juan Ciscomani in their re-election campaigns. According to LIBRE President Daniel Garza, Latino voters account for at least 20% of the electorate in these areas and will play a mathematically decisive role.
Strategic director Ricardo Castro emphasized that James’ platform promises lower costs, good-paying jobs and affordable energy for Hispanic families in Michigan. In Arizona, Monet Bacs noted Ciscomani’s focus on pocket-book issues and pro-growth policies that have previously resonated with Latino voters. The organization aims to keep these voters engaged year-round, not just during the October election cycle.
