Historic Kyiv church damaged in Russian night strike, two killed

Russian night-one outlet air strikes on Kyiv caused extensive damage to the 120-year-old Saint Procopius church, breaking its windows, domes and the yellow-brick historic façade, according to Volodimir Nakonecsnij, the state administrative head of the Pogyilszkij district. The assault resulted in two fatalities and eight civilian injuries. The same raid hit a local orphanage; Tetjana Mosztepan said the building was damaged but patients and staff escaped harm, and a newborn boy arrived at the facility at 2:05 a.m. The attack also struck a Nova Posta parcel office and sorting centre, with staff unharmed but some parcels destroyed.

Additionally, Andrij Rajkovics reported that a Russian drone hit a car park in Kropivnickij, Kirovohrad region. No further details have been released.
