Honor Watch 6 offers large battery, bright display and robust build
Honor's Watch 6 smartwatch comes in two designs, featuring a 980 mAh battery and a high-brightness AMOLED screen.
Honor has expanded beyond phones with the Watch 6, available in two styles: an elegant composite-strap edition and a black sport version with a fluoroelastomer band. The watches differ in case material, with the former using stainless steel and the latter aluminum, resulting in weights of 50 g and 41 g respectively. A standout feature is the 980 mAh battery, roughly double the capacity of typical smartwatches, allowing charging intervals of up to a week.
The 1.46-inch AMOLED screen offers 464 × 464 resolution and up to 3 000 nit brightness, remaining clear under direct sun and operable with wet fingers. Controls include a rotating crown and a side button, and the devices are rated IP69, tolerating immersion to 50 m and exposure to hot pressurized water. They also provide dual-frequency GPS (AccuTrack) and 3D distance measurement, capable of handling data from two phones simultaneously.
Why it matters
The Watch 6 shows Honor's push into premium wearables with long battery life and durable design.
