Search teams found unidentified human remains near Crystal Rapid on the Colorado River while looking for a hiker missing after a flash flood.
Authorities conducting a search for a hiker who disappeared in a recent flash flood discovered human remains close to Crystal Rapid on the Colorado River. The National Park Service reported the find on Monday. The remains were collected and sent to the Coconino County Medical Examiner’s Office for analysis. Officials have not yet confirmed the identity of the remains.
