Hungarian defence minister redirects funds to renovate military barracks
Defence Minister Ruszin-Szendi Romulusz announced that money set aside for the previous minister's office refurbishment has been transferred to upgrade barracks across more than 30 sites.
In a recent post, Defence Minister Ruszin-Szendi Romulusz said the government has reallocated budget originally earmarked for the former defence minister's office renovation to improve military housing. Over 30 locations are seeing work on bathrooms, classrooms, perimeter fences and crew buildings, with more than 200 projects either started or completed this year. The shift reflects a priority on improving living conditions for armed forces personnel.
