Hunter Lawrence clinches AMA Pro Motocross 450MX championship at Ironman Raceway

Hunter Lawrence captured his first AMA Pro Motocross 450 National Championship at Ironman Raceway, finishing ahead of his younger brother Jett. The season-long duel saw the siblings win 20 of 22 motos and exchange the points lead a record six times. Lawrence began the final event with a single-point edge and survived a chaotic opening moto, where a crash with Haiden Deegan forced both to restart from the back.

In the second moto, he stayed close to Jett, ultimately finishing fourth while Jett took third, preserving the necessary gap. The victory also gave Honda HRC Progressive a consecutive 1-2 finish in the standings and added to the manufacturer’s tally of premier-class titles.
