ICE detains and deports British commentator Milo Yiannopoulos after airport arrest

ICE arrested Milo Yiannopoulos at New Orleans' Louis Armstrong Airport and deported him to the United Kingdom the following day.

The 41-year-old British national was taken into custody by immigration officials at the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport in Kenner, Louisiana. A day later, ICE carried out his removal back to the United Kingdom. Yiannopoulos had originally entered the United States legally via New York City in 2019 and received a final removal order on July 22 from an immigration judge. Officials said the action reflects a reversal of a previous policy that allowed undocumented individuals to travel domestically.
