Idaho In-N-Out shooter identified as Chad Williams after self-inflicted death
Police identified 24-year-old Chad Williams as the gunman who opened fire at an In-N-Out Burger in Twin Falls and then took his own life.
Twin Falls authorities confirmed that Chad Williams, 24, carried out a rifle attack inside the In-N-Out restaurant on Saturday afternoon. The shooter ended the incident with a self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to Police Chief Matthew Hicks. Two individuals, an armed civilian and an off-duty state trooper, returned fire and engaged the gunman. Williams acted alone and his family is cooperating with investigators, though a motive remains unclear.
