IDF kills two Hamas Nukhba operatives in northern Gaza

The Israeli Defense Forces reported that two Hamas Nukhba militants were killed in successive operations in the northern Gaza Strip. On Tuesday, Sharif Shadi Ibrahim Labad, who had infiltrated the Erez Crossing during the October 7 massacre, was neutralised. A day later, Yusuf Saad Al-Din Rashad Zaim, identified as a Nukhba commander, was also eliminated.

The IDF said the strikes were carried out to prevent upcoming attacks and to degrade the militant group's capabilities after ongoing cease-fire breaches. Prior to the attacks, the military employed precise weapons and aerial surveillance to minimise civilian harm. Soldiers from the Southern Command continue to be deployed in the area under the existing agreement, ready to respond to any immediate dangers. The operations underscore Israel’s ongoing effort to counter Hamas’ military wing in Gaza.
