IFA 2026 unveils TP-Link Wi-Fi 8 routers, JMGO projector and LG AI chatbot
At IFA 2026 in Berlin, TP-Link introduced new Wi-Fi 8 hardware, JMGO launched a 4K 120 Hz projector, and LG demoed its ThinQ Claw AI assistant.
IFA 2026 attracted over 200,000 visitors to Berlin, where major tech firms showcased new hardware. TP-Link used the event to debut the Archer 8 Ultra tri-band router with 18 internal antennas and the Deco 8 Ultra mesh kit, both aimed at addressing real-world connectivity issues under the forthcoming Wi-Fi 8 specification. JMGO rolled out the Iris Ultra Max projector, a 4K 120 Hz Google TV unit that employs a dual-iris system to achieve a 10,000:1 contrast ratio and a 6,500 ISO lumen output.
LG introduced its ThinQ Claw chatbot, a conversational AI built on the Homey acquisition, designed to interpret user intent across LG appliances and other smart-home products. The Verge will provide on-site coverage and hands-on reviews of these launches throughout the exhibition.
