Illegal immigrant arrested for kidnapping and assault of 6-year-old in New Jersey

Lester Noe Perez-Amador, an undocumented immigrant, was detained after allegedly breaking into a Washington Borough home, abducting a six-year-old girl and sexually assaulting her.

Investigators allege that undocumented immigrant Lester Noe Perez-Amador broke into a home in Washington Borough, New Jersey, on the Labor Day weekend and kidnapped a six-year-old girl. The child was reported missing just before 3 a.m. Saturday and was found an hour later, walking home, before being taken for medical treatment. Perez-Amador was apprehended the following day after a DUI stop and initially charged with home invasion burglary and kidnapping.

Warren County Prosecutor Jessica L. Cardone added two counts of aggravated sexual assault and one count of endangering a child's welfare. He remains in a Warren County jail awaiting his first court appearance on October 19. The Department of Homeland Security confirmed he was detained by ICE and is slated for deportation.
