The Department of Energy said the rise applies to diesel, gasoline and kerosene, marking the third consecutive week of major fuel adjustments. Since the start of September, each fuel type has seen multiple increases. Officials linked the upward pressure to higher global oil prices and supply disruptions tied to the Middle-East conflict, including damage to Saudi Arabia’s East-West Pipeline.
