Independent Media Board convenes first meeting and appoints new chair
The Independent Media Board met for its inaugural session in Budapest and elected Bayer Judit as chair along with five other members.
On Thursday, the newly formed Independent Media Board gathered in Budapest for its first meeting. The board, tasked with overseeing public service media and safeguarding its independence, selected six members. Bayer Judit will serve as the board's president, while Bálint Viktor, Hargitai Miklós, Kollár Árpád, Sükösd Miklós and Szabó György were appointed as fellow members.
