India showcases 37 deep-tech startups to BRICS investors at New Delhi expo

In New Delhi, the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of External Affairs are hosting the BRICS Bharat Innovates Exposition, displaying 37 Indian deep-tech startups selected from an initial group of 120 that participated in a prior event in Nice, France. The two-day showcase, running on September 11-12 alongside the BRICS Business Forum, seeks to foster investment talks, technology partnerships and market access for ventures in areas including space technology, semiconductors, quantum computing, renewable energy, battery materials, robotics, biotechnology and healthcare.

High-level attendees such as Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Education Minister Pralhad Joshi and BRICS leaders are slated to tour the exhibition. Companies like Dhruva Space, GalaxEye Space Solutions, WiSig Networks, QpiAI and Unbox Robotics are among the participants. The expo will provide structured matchmaking coordinated with FICCI, CII and ASSOCHAM, aligning with the BRICS Education Track priority of strengthening research, innovation and startup ecosystems.
