Kanishq Bajpai, a 57-year-old chief manager in the Information Technology division of Indian Bank, fell from the balcony of the bank’s Parry’s Corner office in Chennai on Saturday evening and was declared dead on arrival at Stanley Government Hospital. A security guard witnessed the fall, raised the alarm and emergency responders were dispatched promptly. North Beach police have taken charge of the case, collecting statements from Bajpai’s wife, son and other relatives to assess his mental condition before the incident.
